Conference participants viewed SimMedical, in partnership with Laerdal Medical's, exciting new curriculum - The First 5 Minutes ^® and Rapid Response Team Training - which feature robust didactic materials as well as pre-defined simulation scenarios, in addition to learning of SimMedical's other innovative products.

Fourth International Symposium on Rapid Response and Medical Emergency Teams

SimMedical was pleased to be an Exhibitor at the recent Fourth International Symposium on Rapid Response and Medical Emergency Teams held on May 8 and 9, 2008 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel located in downtown Toronto.

SimMedical's courses were showcased at this event, as they feature comprehensive curriculum that includes didactic materials as well as pre-defined simulation scenarios. Conference participants learned of SimMedical's Consulting and Advisory Services in addition to seeing demonstrations of SIMS, SimMedical's Simulation Information Management System which encompasses learning, research and facilities management systems in one product.

SimMedical was proud to support Michael DeVita, MD, FACP, and Program Advisor of this year's conference. Dr. DeVita is the Associate Director of University of Pittsburgh's Peter M. Winter Institute for Simulation, Education and Research (WISER) and is the author SimMedical's Rapid Response Team Training course.

2008 International Meeting on Simulation in Health Care

SimMedical was honored to participate in the 2008 International Meeting on Simulation in Health Care held on January 13-15 in sunny San Diego, Ca. The SimMedical team was well represented as a booth proudly displayed and demonstrated current products and features.

Dr. Paul Phrampus, Chief Medical Officer, SimMedical and Tom Dongilli, Chief Operating Officer, SimMedical held distinguished roles within the meeting as Dr. Phrampus served as the workshop co-chair and Tom Dongilli led an operations track concerning a simulation coordinators meeting and a panel discussion.
